Established in 1999, the Búzios Vela Clube (BVC) is a non-profitable Sports Association that belongs to its Member-Proprietors, and has as its objective, promote Sailing in the paradisiacal bay that exists on the northern side of the Búzios peninsula, which is considered to be one of the best places in the world for sailing.
The BVC Member-Proprietors have, as a counterpoint to their MONTHLY CONTRIBUTIONS the following services:
- Individual spaces of various sizes for Windsurf boards
- Spaces for Laser, Dinghy, Snipe, Optimist and other sailboats
- Individual lockers for Windsurf boards and equipment
- Fire insurance for stored material
- Grassy space to put and remove Windsurf/boats into and from the sea
- Rescue support
- Assembly, disassembly and cleaning of your equipment services without additional costs
- Equipment maintenance services
- Windsurf and Sailing Training Center and Schools
- Bathrooms with hot showers
- Sauna with shower
- Bar
- Sail room with Video and TV
- Webcam and meteorological station
The BVC Members have a nautical extension of their homes at the club.
Because it is a member of several national and international Sailing Federations, BVC promotes Sailing events and competitions in several levels.
